Pulled out a 318 4 bbl California motor from my '80 Aspen. When I was detailing the engine bay I noticed that there is ducting that picks up air from the drive front fender area. There was no ducting or air filter set up on this car. Does anyone have a factory picture or a picture from your factory correct F body? Thinking that there may be some HP to be had from this area. Thanks

There is a flat flange and it has a hard tube coming off at a 45 degree towards the air cleaner. My profile pic has it. It is flex duct from the 45 to the air cleaner.

I put duals on mine and tried to make it look factory down to the flanged hole in the rad. support. It's in the Modoba thread in projects and restorations.
