What year did the lean burn carbs go electronic? I'm thinking 1981, 82 or 83. I know my 85 truck carb wasn't, well at least when I got it. I am at work planning my days off and wondering if I need a carb for my 78 Unlean burn project. I have everything else.
Thanks Mike

I don't think any trucks had lean burn.

My 1981 Gran Fury had lean burn and electronic carb. I dumped both and used a rebuilt carb for a 1968 Dart with a 318 2 barrel carb. Nice and crisp at take off.

If you have the carb number, I may have the carburetor. I have several Mopar carbs from AFB's, Thermoquads, AVS's etc.

I will check my 78 when I get back in the states Friday. I have a 73 parts Valiant, 77 parts Aspen and a 85 parts P/U I need to check to see what they have on them for carbs. If I don't have one I'll be in touch.
Thanks Mike
