I'll bet you could find a tube from a newer vehicle, anything with a rear hatch, that would work perfectly. They all have them in one form or another.
Thanks for the info BudW! The duel cone speakers in the rear hatch mounts pictured above were from the black OK parts wagon. They aren't any good, so I will have to buy new ones. I do not have any new speakers for the front two small dash mounts I plan to put in. I know there was a previous thread that addressed these small speakers, but I haven't looked for it yet.Do you have new speakers lined up for front of Old Yellow?
I have 2 of them sitting in my shop with mics & antennas. Been there for 35 yrs or so...I think this is the proper area to post this but I dont see much online about the cb-s in the fmj cars or really the cb-s in general.
I see they still bring good money, even for some rough looking used ones and ive seen some crazy prices on nos or 1/2 nos, used units, new mic, ect.
Im wondering what the nos cb/am and the cb/am/fm go for.
In the product bullitions? I have from chrysler they really were excited about them and stressed pushing the sales of them as well. Ive also a part and price sheet I will post and they were costly even then.
So far from looking into it, am I to understand Chrysler started to use them in 76 in the trucks and passenger cars in 78?
So what do ya know and what pics ya got?
Lol, you can sit in the shop and have a conversation with yourself over the radios.I have 2 of them sitting in my shop with mics & antennas. Been there for 35 yrs or so...
Just listed (2) in Other PartsI think this is the proper area to post this but I dont see much online about the cb-s in the fmj cars or really the cb-s in general.

Although my actual knowledge of the meat and potatoes of these is limited but learning, I have followed the internet sales trends of these for years.
Them are decent offering, so not to post commentary in your sales ad, the units I follow on ebay and other mopar sites ones like yours do sell in the 150-180 range, untested listed as parts unless actually hooked up and tested, alot can change in 35 years of non use just sitting with any part, other higher priced units sit a while and sit and then the "old school garage" seller thats had his listing the moves from 600-800 for over a year is kinda mind blowing.
Myself, I look for functionality and equally as well appearance, too bad someone could not run across a box of nos face plates for these, they would sell very well.
There is some good input on these on the C body site and most feel they really suck as a radio/cb but are a great appearance option and for me id bet the nos unit I posted above will see nearly zero actual use, radio or cb.
Ive been asked by a few what I paid for the NOS ab/cb combo I posted on. I feel I did well, even below market since a good nos guy dumped two nos ones for $385 and sold two in less then a month, I paid $302 so I was happy, my wallet wasnt but I was.
It took me less then 30 minutes to gather things up and test and make the vid I posted, it might help in your sales.
I do think them are nice units your listing and would clean up well, but thats just from another guy on the internet with an opinion.
What does H, N refer to? I have a NOS 4048349 (looking to sell) but I've found out the hard way that the internet is limited when looking up old auto part numbers. My parts catalog ('79) isn't very specific either. The only antenna it lists that mentions H,N is 4048349 fixed mast antenna package. All the rest shown are for other bodies. No mention of with/without CB or anything else on any of them. You'd think the CB would have a different one.
