Magnum Roller lifter orientation - oil hole?

Hi Guys,

I just noticed the roller lifters I have bought have a we hole on one side and not in the other, does this hole need to point a certain way?

I have a complete magnum engine, that looked like something to do with the first rollers oiled up the shafts where the mags up the Push rod.
