OK, I give up trying to use this custom tubular mount trans crossbrace. It either puts it way too far back, or way too far forward, no matter how I position it. My goal was to get the engine/trans in the car by Tuesday (my last day off of work), but that's not going to happen. Will have to do other things.

I need a factory automatic trans crossmember, for a Mirada, but I assume they're the same for all FMJ cars. I have the actual mount.

Can anyone help, please! Thanks!

I think I have at least two. I'm a quick ship away, too. In fact, I think one is blasted & refinished in flat black. LeBaron leftovers.

This should be the one... no silly counterweights to slow you down, either. It came off my Gran Fury squad, if I recall correctly.

It got a little bit of rust from sitting for so long, but it was blasted & painted before that.

About matches the rest of the condition of the underbody... going for function, not beauty LOL

About 11.25" between the mounting points, and 2" wide frame rail is what I need.

If it wasn't mid-60s out there, I'd tell you to go pound sand. :icon_biggrin:

The crossmember "pinches" in the bolt-hole area and flares out to greater size to ease installation over the crossmember. Also, the one bolt hole is slotted to account for production tolerances in the unibody itself. It's the one you need.

I already took care of the shipping, so the UPS guy should be grabbing it from work either tomorrow or Tuesday. I think you're only 1 day out so you'll surely have it by Thursday. If not, my name isn't Egbert Q. Snatchbasket!
