Rear end parts

I'm having trouble finding reasonable prices for 7.25 gears. I have a 9 and 1/4 available from my 01 ram pickup it's about 10''wider than the other one lining the wheels up perfectly even with the fender well and the spring perches are the same width. Has anyone else made this walk just wondering how it performs if you have.
