So I bought a low mileage '83 Cordoba to use as a daily driver and while the car rides well enough, the 60/40 split bench is possibly the most uncomfortable seat I have ever had grace my ever expanding posterior.

Are buckets any better and from what cars will they bolt up ?

Additionally, the shoulder belt seems to always be contracting, cutting across my neck. Is this normal for these J bodies ? Sorry for the newbie questions, but my other Mopes are somewhat older and lack such fancy accoutrements.

I have had my 82 Cordoba since new. When it was new, the seat was quite comfortable, but the foam has now partially collapsed. Yours probably has too. For the first 15 or so years, the seatbelt used to lock in place, but that wore out too!, so I went to Canadian Tire and got a padded seatbelt wrapper, and that solved that problem. If I can ever find original upholstery for the car, I will get the foam redone. Until then, I sit on an Obus form, seat. Oh, my car has 500,000 city driven kilometres on it.
