Steering column for 4speed

Is there a special column for the 4speed?

Nope. It's the same as the floor-shift automatic column. Of course, you have to watch your swap a little bit... you spend many happy hours in a '81 J-body with a '79 F-car steering column, assuming you don't mind the fact that you've got no wiper switch. :icon_biggrin:

You do have to modify your reverse-lamp harness for the transmission-mounted switch, though. The four-speed is a two-pin connector to the automatic's three (since it's also the neutral safety switch which is a pedal-mounted clutch safety switch on a stick car).

This one has the key in it and is non tilt out of a 79 aspen 3 speed stick. apparently a very low optioned car. I added the cuda crush can for sheets and giggles. It went to Carlisle with me and came home the same. It is non-tilt. Looking to trade for a set of 80 Aspen tail lamps or at least the right side.
