Meet Eve. She is one vindictive cut throat back stabbing bitch of a Mopar.

I over filled it with 93 octane, so it is burping gas out of the vent. I'll leave the garage door open for trick or treaters to oow and aaahhh!

The slots are a wait'n for sure. I was just giddy like a kid on prom night and threw the tags on it as soon as I got home from DMV. I'll run it through inspection a week from Monday so the slots will need to come back off. I'll burn off some more of the old BFs for a few days and then put those big old ovals on it

What colour is that? I think the slots will go well with the look I think you're shooting for with this car.

The paint is DIY duplicolor. It is candy orange with their clear coat. I have not wet sanded or buffed it out yet. Duplicolor says to use silver or gray or white base. I didn't want a pink effect. I wanted more of Go Mango & Burnt Orange, so My base primer is black and a mid coat of copper. I got a hell of a lot of hate on my painting, but my expectations were low enough. Now, if I had someone else do the paint, it would had been microscopically correct. While getting gas yesterday, some random dude asked if my "duster" was for sale, because he had a duster just like it years ago. I asked him what color and he said it was the same as mine? as long as he did not say his Nova was the same color, I guess it is not a GM color.

I also have been getting a bunch of "Let me have a turn" or "It's my turn". Like the kid on the playground with the new bike. I might have to print up a bunch of legal wavers because Eve scares me and I am not kidding. Those BF 60s are on 14 inchers and it shreds them like nothing and starts to go sideways. It really needs bigger tires back there.

More seriously: 35 year old components like brake lines, steering and front suspension. It is not all original for sure, but I expect something has to give. The scary part is the "when". I keep a fire extinguisher handy and may grab a throwaway one for back up.

Bimbo (milf in her own mind) neighbor on the next block asked my wife if she gets to drive the "gold Camaro". My wife now believes me when I said, "Don't talk with the bimbo!".... friggin Camaro- at least she didn't say Nova.
