Last pass of the 2023 racing season
i will run the current W2 engine for the 2024 race season and yes it's a lot of horsepower sitting on the work bench. way more and i mean way more horsepower then my current engine. i finally was able to purchase it from a good friend of mine.beautiful pile of horsepower
Out of curiosity, what do you do with the old rods? Scrap them?With the winter weather coming in it was a great afternoon to spend in the garage. I got all the pistons cleaned. Took the old rings off as new rings will be ordered.
The rods will also be changed. I have a new set already here.
Really easy to change the rods. I like this way, simple and fast.

Torque them up and runI'm curious: how do you check the rod bolt stretch with these?
I think I spy a little openning in the rod body that appears to center on the bolt itself, but it's hard to tell in the photo.
Anyways, how about that massive pin??? holy smokes...!!!
