Trunk paint inside

My question on my 78 is how did they paint this from the factory, the dark blue first then splatter white on it? I am wanting to repaint some of my trunk inside to match factory job but wondering if anybody actually knew how it was done

Yes go to a paint jobber, they have it.
I will say that you might not find the exact color but there’s probably one close…

I used Zolotone paint for my trunk. Comes in several colors. As far as I know only available in quarts.

Yep and it could also be tinted to body color just a bit.

Here is for GM but its at least blue. You might search ebay further.

Dial your paint gun down until it barely sprays. Get it spitting and sputtering. Mix up or decant some silver and gray and mix them together then splatter it on. Then mix a candy-ish blue and go over it until it covers the splattered gray spots like you want.
