I did get a bunch of import honda types at the gas station oogling around the Volare. One guy asked how it launched. He had a FSR. It is one of those 2600 pound rear wheel drive 6 speed little go carts. Hyundai, Toyota, Subaru all have one of these and they look like fun. So I asked if he wanted to watch the tail lights get smaller. He did not get it at first until his budy clued him in. I then said I'll give a handicap of two car lengths. His budy had an allwheel drive older Mitsubishi. I know the AWD cars hook up like crazy, so I'm backing down. His budy measured my back tire and said NO. Something about he has 5 inches of contact per wheel and I have 15 inches on each of my back. 30 is greater than his 20. So is that how races are won these days? I really wanted to see how I'd do, but no takers.
