There is a reason why Gale Banks specializes in Diesels

http://bankspower.com/racing

A small inter-cooled turbo Diesel can be a lot of fun if set up right. Plus if set up with a Bio-Diesel or waste vegetable cooking oil ( ie. Greasecar Vegetable
Fuel Systems )

you can be an environmentally friendly tree hugger also :eusa_dance:

Also when you get your waste cooking oil from Taco bell your exhaust smells like burritos, Mickey D's, Burgers and fry's and since they usually pay to have their waste oil hauled away you can often take it off their hands for free.

Most of the chain fast food places are tough to get it from and I don't understand why. My budy has an old Mercedes and an f250. Both are running chinese food used cooking oil. My budy tells me the Chinese places are more than happy to give away the stuff. The Mercedes has some type of kit, but the f250 does not other than some type of tank heater. He puts the used fryer oil in the front tank and regular diesel in the rear tank. I know he adds a crap load of fuel additive to the used oil and it does get Gelled in the winter. Truck smells of funnel cake. That 7.3 has like 380K on the odometer and it gets treated like a ho with a chipped tooth.
