Hello Guys: When Chrysler assembled these with the optional laundau roof treatment, did they install this over the glass that is in the sail panels of non-laudau equipped models? Or was there some sort of insert? What would be involved in converting from laundau to standard roof treatment? Thanks!

Every Cordoba I've ever stripped from 1980 thru 1982 have glass installed in the 1/4 window area regardless of roof treatment, same as the Mirada with that fake convertible roof. The glass is ALWAYS there.

My stock car had a Landau top and there was still glass under all that vinyl, foam and plastic.

Even around the back window is a normally mounted back glass same as a Mirada.

The problem when stripping it is the large pieces of fiber reinforced plastic that are pop riveted over the the recessed glass areas, side windows and the back glass. Lots of 1/8" holes drilled into the roof.

Chrysler 5th Avenue's have glass in the rear doors under the vinyl treatment as well.
