The '85 getting a little move around exercise and the '88 getting the interior stripped for a King County Sheriff's Office resto and "24 Hours of LeMons" competition.

Nope, Larry, wife actually likes it. That is rare because our taste in cars runs in different "Flavors," if you will

Here is the Public Surplus listing for the '88 when I got it

I've got this stuff up over @ Dippy, but thought I'd put this up for you folks who don't go over there

Mexico has them. I saw one in2005 in San Diego the rear side glass is Grand Caravan and Grand Caravan rear hatch... graphed to an ext cab Ram... yet somehow shortened

Is that a real truck? That is awesome, I've never heard of one before, let alone seen one. How can I put one in my driveway? :icon_scratch:

I was putting gas in my truck one day and looked over to see one of these. I was trying to snap a pic of it without being real obvious. it had Mexico plates on it and I would guess none of the people that got out of it spoke English.

Got the LeBaron out for a little spin today, I painted it six months ago and I still need to finish putting all the trim back on lol, oh well, I'm getting ready to start working on it again.

Only downside to these was that they didn't come in 4X4 and the third row seat was a joke that would never pass American safety standards.

You can almost see the words "Dodge Caravan" on the back of that tailgate. Yep, the marketing folks figured that it would not seel well i the USA. Actually, they didn't want it to compete with the New SUV called the "Durango" at the time. Probably did not want to compete with the Caravan either. These are the same jackholes that decise to shelve the Magnum Wagon and other unique cars. Someone at Mopar needs to look at the new Caddy Wagon, because it screams Magnum wagon. These over educated "non true Car people" suck. I dare Mopar to bring back the Plymouth line and posibly Desoto line as retro. Hell, I had seen a 61 Dodge Towne Panel with "Fargo" emblems on it and thought what if Mopar put out a short wheel based panel truck with the new Ram front clip. With the current big Dodge Van based off the Euro-trash Mercedes and rebadge Freightliner...... Mopar needs something to turn the tables. Until they pull their heads out of their dumb arses, I'll look to getting a last gen panel (58-66) and grafting a new ram front clip on it myself.

Only $4.13 for a pack of smokes? If it was that cheap here, I'd never quit!

1993 was the last year of 4WD Ramchargers- they quit sending them North to the Us and Canada as well as making 4WDs. They didn't sell well enough anywhere else to warrant the extra effort. 1994 was a carry-over year, and the 'new' Ramcharger was built 2WD only. Chrysler rightfully saw no reason to re-engineer the rear suspension and fuel system (tank-to engine bay) for no return on the investment. Ramchargers were killed off after 2001.

That is my ex-Emery County Sheriff's Ramcharger. Built in June of 1993, in service until May of 2012 when I bought it for 3973 and change. Sorry if you ever got pulled over by the truck, but what the heck were you going in San Rafeal Country to warrant getting stopped? :tongue7:
