I am looking for a complete V8 FMJ bolt-in front suspension - K frame, T bars, sway bar, LCA, spindles etc within reasonable driving distance from tge Washington DC area. This would be used in my 47 Dodge
I didn’t like the size of the front door when I started planning this build - the proportions just didn’t look “right”. The
longer 2 door sedan look fit the wagon much better. That posed some minor problems- the wagon’s B pillars didn’t match the doors so I have to use the 2 door’s B pillars...
This is a page from the 82 Mirada shop manual showing the connector for the turn signal. What are the 3 I’ve circled for? Key light maybe. I’m showing wire color code from the bottom yellow with red stripe, black then finally what looks like maybe brown. any help you can provide I’d...
Many Thanks for the lead; i did some backtracking from that picture on FABO and found a wealth of pictures more than sufficient to assemble the mount and install the compressor to the mount. It appears I have everything to do the job. Thanks to everyone!
Thanks for the replies. Here is what the member sent me for the mount:
The main bracket with the pulley has these holes
Of which 3 of the aluminum bracket holes lines up perfectly with those on the pulley bracket. Of course what i have is nowhere near matching the diagram that was posted...
Wondering if anyone has a shop manual with a diagram of all the bits and pieces to install a Sanden style compressor to a slant. I have all the parts from a 79 Aspen/Volare I bought years ago from another member and need to see how everything goes together. Likely the M/J manuals have the same...
I have a tilt steering column which i believe is from an 80, possibly an 81. I need to replace the multifunction turn signal arm. I don’t have a FSM for info on how to do this. If anyone has one, could you give me a short tutorial on how to remove the arm. Thanks in advance!
Bringing this ad back from the dead as the day after my last post (mar 26th) I spent 2 weeks in the hospital that resulted in a difficult gall bladder operation! As it also turned out my friend in IA never found a tilt column and ended up moving to MN. So the search is back on - looking...
Thanks for you insight! I “think” my dash harness might be from an 82 as all the colors and location of wires to the ignition components seem match the 82 FSM. I save my FSM AS I had an 82 Miranda a few years back. Another FFMJBodies member sent me the schematic for the ignition components...
Thanks for replying. This is what I have going on : 65 Dart wagon that I was going to use the 65 833 and all associated 4 speed stuff. I already have mocked up a modified J Body underdash harness (forgot from what year) to work with my modified engine harness. The plan was to use a J Body...
