There's also a vacuum hose connection assembly (clear plastic hoses, IIRC) that hook up right behind the push-pull switch assembly in the dash. The connector on my '87 Fifth Avenue broke years ago and I replaced that hose connection assembly with the MoPar dealer replacement assembly as there...

It's very sad to hear that Timken bearings are having quality issues these days. They used to be the best bearing brand out there back in the day! :(

Your steering gear (box) may not have to be replaced as an assembly. The power steering return and/or pressure hoses could be the source of the leak or at the top of the steering gear. If the leak is under the big round cap on the top of the gear, Chrysler had o-ring seal kits for that area...

Have been reading this thread about different vehicles having wheel bearing failures. I used to work at a Chrysler/Plymouth dealership as parts/service manager. Have seen what happens when wheel bearings aren't maintained by being repacked with new grease and new wheel hub dust seals...

Addy's exterior paint isn't two-tone. The clear coat has really went to pot, as I was physically unable to keep the paint waxed every year. I believe it's the Twilight Blue, but would need to take a pic of the fender tag to see what the paint code is.

Thanks for the nice comments. Am glad the price I have on Addy is in the ball park. Thought if I couldn't get her sold, I'd have to get what I can, but glad to know I should not do that! Thanks again for your advice.

Thanks! I've taken care of Addy the best I could, but am very sad I wasn't able to keep the paint in good shape. Hope I can find a good, loving home for her.
