5 wire ignition vs. 4 wire

I don't think there is a performance difference between the 4 and 5 wire STOCK boxes. In fact, the 4 wire box superseded the 5 wire one after a while. The performance boxes are different internally and can't really be compared to the stock boxes. I have installed the 4 wire stock box in place...

WANTED: manual brake bracket from 79-80 F-body or maybe Diplomat

Just curious, why were you swapping to manual brakes? More room or less weight? That is a bummer about the manual master cylinder, I hope I never need to replace mine. I also use a manual master cylinder (76 Volare) on my 65 Sport Fury and 65 Belvedere. The 76 M/C is a cast iron one and looks...

WANTED: manual brake bracket from 79-80 F-body or maybe Diplomat

I changed my 79 Volare wagon from power to manual brakes. I did not need to drill or cut anything. Complete bolt in (factory parts). I got a used firewall plate and a new manual master cylinder (with rod). Everything was a simple nuts & bolts swap.

WANTED: manual brake bracket from 79-80 F-body or maybe Diplomat

If you have a power brake booster, you can get the bolt pattern off of the back of it as the booster has 4 studs that go in the same holes. The center hole isn't that critical as it only has to let the rod through. -Matt

    F-body race suspension ?'s

The spring is centered in the bracket (no offset). I don't believe there is more than 1/4 to 1/2 inch between the bracket and the frame. I don't think any of the spring hangers were offset from the factory. Direct Connection (Mopar Performance) makes some offset hangers but I do not think...

    F-body race suspension ?'s

The front spring bolt is close to if not in line with the lower row of bracket mounting studs. When I removed the iso-clamp mess from my 79 Volare, I reversed the front hangers (redrilled the holes) to bring it back down to normal ride height (I gained over an inch when I removed the iso-clamp...
