    Anyone running a trailer hitch?

I'm working on one right now, seems like they're all similar ideas. I used a hitch I pulled off a Yukon at the junkyard, made brackets to adapt it to the bumper mounts. Tomorrow I'm adding bracing toward the front of the car, either the trunk pan or frame rails. Still going to be light duty...

    Rearend noise

That's what I was thinking with the whole not louder when faster deal. Any idea of what it could be? Or just not worry too much about it unless it starts to change?

    Rearend noise

I've been doing a lot of work on my rearend. It's an 8.25, and I recently broke the spiders and tore the carrier up. New carrier w/bearings and a lunchbox locker to replace the spiders. Took everything apart, pinion out, seals replaced and cleaned it the best I could. Used an entire case of...

    Oil smoke at idle

So the smoking ended up stopping on its own. No problems for about a month and a half, and I've driven it long and hard without any problems. Then it started back today.... Rings were seated during initial break-in, oil changed and GP-1 oil added. Great for the first 500 mile break-in Did the...

    Wheel hop

And it's still hopping the tires a little at times.... so shock adjustment and pinion snubber is probably going to be next

    Wheel hop

Got everything installed yesterday and driven it a little. Definitely able to feel the road better now. I'm keeping an eye on the rear end, the Spartan locker seems a lot louder now. But I did get rid of a lot of rubber and the front spring bushings are solid aluminum so it makes sense that...

Just the springs and shocks for now.

    Wheel hop

I put in my last post that I went with purchasing Calvert springs and b-body shock plates to get rid of the iso in the rear. The springs come with aluminum bushings in the front and poly it the rear. Adjustable competition engineering shocks should stiffen everything up real good in the rear...

    Wheel hop

Ended up ordering Calvert split-mono springs, competition engineering adjustable shocks, b-body plates. It might be a bit overkill on the springs but I'm willing to live with the stiffer ride. And I've been working on modeling up a hitch, I figure it could possibly help with towing if I get it...

    Wheel hop

Would e-body springs with the firmfeel hangers be a good choice?

    Wheel hop

What are since good replacement springs? I've looked at Calvert's shopping monoleafs, I have a buddy who put a trick set of composite fiberglass set on his dart that weigh about 10 lbs that I was gonna look into.

    Roof Rack

Has anyone put a roof rack on a 4-door sedan? Would one from a wagon fit or maybe something aftermarket?

    Wheel hop

That seems easy enough to make. What sort of clearance/adjustment increments do you recommend?
