I believe so, it is in the tank.

    Best shocks for stock suspension

Sometime in the late 90’s maybe around the” cobra” mustang or SVT era, ford switch the mustang GT to a softer spring, and upped the shock rate. The effect was a bit better handling or the same handling and better ride quality. I would investigate a shock with a more firm rebound to dampen the...

    Rear windscreen (?) water leak

Back at the rear window trim... I must be missing something, as the trim is doing a fine job of remaining attached.. The trim removal tool is to catch the clasp and allow it to unlock in some manor, right? I'm guessing it is not for prying the trim up, correct? IF I ever get this trim off...

No high beam, no "click" when pulling turn signal

The rod had somehow fallen off the multifunction switch at the top of the column. The switch itself appears to be in good shape. It looks like I will need to remove the steering wheel to get it all back together. That is probably ok, because the steering wheel is cracked and I will attempt to...

No high beam, no "click" when pulling turn signal

Thank You Aspen500 Obviously I don't know how the whole steering column switches work.. but I appreciate your guidance, and will begin to investigate further using your suggestions.

No high beam, no "click" when pulling turn signal

I am making a push to get the Imperial on the road this summer. Thus I went to checking the lights for the eventual safety inspection just as soon as I get it registered and put the plates on it. I discovered that the high beams don't work... and the multi function switch does not make that...

    Rear windscreen (?) water leak

Thanks for all of your input and suggestions. Yes, it’s a job for a professional if I need to take the glass out… I will remove the trim and clean the dirt and rust out… then decide what the best action is… Probably more from me on this topic once I am staring at pinholes and rust bubbles….

    Rear windscreen (?) water leak

So if I am REALLY lucky I can pull the trim off and get to the rust... but most likely the window will have to come out... ? I'm ok with removing the window just so long as it does not get broken!!!

    Rear windscreen (?) water leak

So the trim is a ‘T’ shape that does something to hold the glass in, or just for decoration? And does that suggest that the window is held in place by a rubber gasket and the trim? I have no experience with windows that are glued in place by urethane… but a little bit of experience with rubber...

    Rear windscreen (?) water leak

Yep, it is probably a rust pinhole.. as there is a rust bubble right at the bottom/corner of the windshield. Also further evidence is the paint has cracked in a straight line between that corner rust bubble, straight back which I suspect is the seam between the rear quarter panel and what ever...

    Rear windscreen (?) water leak

So the rear window is installed with urethane, and the leak is in the seam next to the window? Is it realistic to plan to remove the window to repair-find the rusted metal? Or better to do everything to NOT remove the window and see if I can resolve the leak?

    Rear windscreen (?) water leak

Not sure what the correct term is for the rear window (not the side glass)? Anyhow, I had the car outside when it just started to rain, and took the opportunity to look in the trunk to see if I could see why the trunk lid is rusting.. Sure enough there was water running down the seam that is...

Crusty 87 Diplomat at a Vermont Online Estate Auction

I saw that and wondered if it is a winter beater candidate, first and then tuning it into a parts car? I wonder what they paid for the car Guessing 4-500? No accessory drive belts might suggest a cooling problem, or something amiss. IF I had a car trailer I would go see it and find out if he...
