I asked Mr Google and came up with this.
Recalls for 1976 Plymouth Volare
8 recalls in 76 and down to only 1 in 80. Just reinforces the fact that the F body was rushed into production.
I like the 70 series tire on F bodies to fill up the wheel well. Here is what I am running. 215/70/15 on a 6” rim on the front and 235/70/15 on a 8” rim on the back. Gives a nice little forward rake, and as stated, fills up the wheel wells.
I have no experience in this area but a good friend told me that the factory exhaust manifolds from a 5.7 Jeep Grand Cherokee will fit most A B C E and F bodies. Also that Holley in Bowling Green KY has a lot of necessary hardware parts for swapping a gen 3 into most anything.
Caught the eye of the editor of Motor Trend last month at the Moparty show in Bowling Green KY. Click on the link for the story and pictures.
The Car Time Forgot: 1980 Plymouth Road Runner Volare
I saw you running the Autocross at Holley’s Moparty last weekend. Looked and sounded great on the track. Wanted to talk to you, but all 3 times we went through the pit area, you were not at your car. We had a great time at that show.
This will fix your dim lights at idle and will use all of your current factory mounting brackets and bolts. Internal regulator so you will just need to bypass the regulator.
