Introducing "Lucky", my 1988 all original stock 1988 Fifth Avenue proudly wearing personalized plates "LUCKY FND"... {i.e "Lucky Find"}
I was very fortunate to obtain this beauty in "Twilight Blue" approx 5 years ago from the elderly father of a friend of my new partner who had purchased the 5th new as a retirement gift for himself back in the day. With only 39K original kilometers {that's 24k miles for our American friends} it was always garage kept from the rain as well as the snow so no exposure to the elements for his baby. With poor health and age creeping steadily up, it was time for him to downsize which brings me into the picture. I was still living on the island of Newfoundland, Canada when I received the call for the possible sale which was located half way across the country. Long story short... I bought the car sight unseen and made arrangements to fly up 3 months later to pick up my new treasure. Needless to say I was quite pleased with my purchase !!!

Although I continue with Winter storage. this time capsule is thoroughly enjoyed throughout the summer attending shows in the immediate and surrounding areas, bringing home numerous awards. Basically the only modifications that I have done is upgrade the original speakers, install sequential tail lights, and redone the side electluminescent opera lights.
