I need a trim piece that goes around Pass headlight
on my 78 Aspen. I believe they are the same on all
76 to 79 F Body cars but I am not sure,
The one I have as a small ding in it.
I am going to put a battery back in the front of my Superstock Aspen
and I can not find where I put the tray and support out of it.
I want to buy one that is not too rusty or bent up.
We also run a 80 Aspen 318 SS/NA that runs in the 10s.
Former Hot Rod Mag. "Project Bracket Bird" then converted
in to 80 Aspen and run by Paul Rossi/Larry Harroll.
We rescued it from a yard where it had sat for 30+ years.
Do not remember seeing it.
My boy has been racing ours since 2005.
He is the youngest person to ever win a National
NHRA race. 15 and 7 months. (We live in Rural town
in Nevada where you could get a full Driver's license at 15 1/2.
Now you can no longer ra12ce a National race until you turn...
Something 250 to 260 @ 050 is a good fit.
Be sure to have a good valve spring.
I run Beehives (Hard to get under 200 on the seat)
but the old Isky springs that I set up
@ 160/165 on the seat work great and are
easier on the Cam lobe. I think 3105 number
but I am not sure of the number as it has...
Run the small cam 360 as it is quite a bit
lower HP rated and my stocker cams are not
showing much difference in HP with the additional lift.
The big cam just got a bunch of extra HP put on it by NHRA
a few weeks ago!
