Whenever I had vacuum leaks at booster I could feel it in brakes....hard pedal as if no power brakes.

I would say some headers, and some gaskets. A set of TTI headers are extremely leak proof. I've had a couple of sets over the years and they live up to their reputation of excellence. Not cheap but well worth it. Add in a set of Remflex gaskets and you'll have years of trouble free exhaust.

I removed my front and rear by myself, cleaned the channels thoroughly, then had my local Safe Lite come install the glass. I removed the clips carefully, then layed a big blanket on the trunk lid, and from inside I placed my feet on the glass and gently worked it out. I know, not the best way...

I have the adapter on the block, and steel braided lines with AN fittings with the filter mounted to the rad support. I also have an inline engine oil cooler. I'm very happy with it. It has been 100% seep/leak free and oil changes are so much easier and cleaner. And this way the filter is away...

As Mike wrote, it's often the ground causing an issue on these. Try turning on the signal and wiggling and pushing bulb in and see if it starts working.

Sounds like you've narrowed it to bad gas. I wonder if the octane mix didn't get done properly when gas was delivered to station, or there was water in that tank (station tank). Hopefully you can run it all out soon and fill up somewhere else and see.

Um. I've only had that issue on power window AHB's and the bushings in the motor around the gear needed replacement.

I've had several white ones and they had white key cover.

The first time I did a dual exhaust on an AHB and eliminated all the CATS I used full sized OEM style mufflers. It had such a nice sound without being loud. Just not suffocated anymore.

Cool car, worth saving! I agree with Mark, just replace ignition with the kit bypassing the feedback computer that is up under the dash on the driver's side. Then a new or rebuilt non feedback carb. Try and find a "canadian" y pipe and dump the pre-cats and main cat. You'll have to plug some...

Mine still has it's factory AHB external cooler. But I use the B&M cooler for my external engine oil cooler and it's high quality. I used all braided steel lines and an fittings and it's 100% leak/seep free.

This seems to be a decent price to start, and maybe a bargain if a lower offer is accepted. Clearly a factory AHB (I see the extra welds and S is eight character in VIN) 4 barrel car and pretty solid. I questioned the owner because I was feeling tempted as I always do when a decent 4 barrel AHB...

Okay you're talking about a higher leak than I had on one. Very bottom of B Pillar near floor is a what I would call a metal lip. Mine used to be wet in there after hard rain but everything else was dry. I'll get a pic of where I'm talking about. I believe my leak was part of dried out seam sealant

I have had them leak water into trunk and was coming from back window mostly. Some leaked into a taillight housing and trickled down (could see trail as mentioned by Aspen500). Windshield or cowl could be source for front leaks. I have had to fix leaks from both those sources.
