Yup, you're correct.....torque car, all done by 5000-5500. Not sure I'll embarrass the current OEM's but at least I can give them a run for their $$ and make them wonder "What the heck is a Mirada??" 1996 and newer weighted flexplate...check. I'll see if either of the engines comes with....one...

Thanks to this thread, I was able to make sense of the box of wiper junk that came with my car and get mine fixed. Need to restore the arms and get blades, but the motor and transmission linkage work as designed.

My handle is P/N 4184227......looking around online, 4184228 supercedes it and looks identical. But the listings say doesn't fit my car. Should I order the 4228's anyway? I can't see ANY differences.

Ok. So 96-back should be 27 spline. There's plenty of Cherokees in the yards around here...shouldn't be too hard to find one.

Following....need info to head to the junkyard this weekend. What year Cherokee axles have the 27 spline carriers? My yard has a 94 Cherokee, with 3.55. Going this weekend to see if its an LSD and take the internals to put into my 1980 8.25.
