Naw was trying to create the simplest plug and play hemi swap so I came up with this 05 swap, but either way the newer models are the same just more wires lol. Basically just find a ecm that has tcm in also wire it all up to fuse box to the stuff you need and you good to go.

But some rust reformer are primer so your choice

For the rust spot the cheapest way is to get some 80 grit only on the rust spots to prevent from deep scratches everywhere and then spray with some rustoleom rust reformer on it and then sand with 200 to 400 grit then the rest of the process prime, sand, base coat then clear

That is true the paints of now days are better!! And for rattle can for best performance there's a 2k clear spray Max's that sprays like a gun. Best spray can on the market , but is $20 and some tax a can. Sucks but is the best thing for any car out of a spray can.

In the 05 ram wire harness it all connects to the ecm even the transmission wires go to the ecm only thing you need is a fuse box from the truck.

Did you have any issues with steering? Did you switch to rack and pinion setup? I'm using a 05 hemi ram ecm wiring harness cause it's more plug and play setup this way for the motor and transmission not to much to worry about but I'm lost when it comes to the shift linkage and stuff?
