    EFI fuel tank

If I did it again, I would cut an opening in the trunk pan and fab a small dog house cover instead of just hammering a dome over the pump. But, more because it would be a cleaner solution than a need to make access simpler. These tanks are super easy to drop.

    EFI fuel tank

I didn’t have to massage the tank ribs. Holley has a pretty thick foam gasket that is designed to seal against the height of the ribs.

    EFI fuel tank

I did have to put a little bump in the spare tire well to make room for it.

    EFI fuel tank

I used the Holley in tank retrofit kit. With our shallow tank, it was tight at the limit of how short you can make it. I used Part# 12-136 it accounts for the lack of tank baffling with a wicking mat that is surprisingly effective at keeping the pump from being starved...

    Front end parts, where from??

I bought most of my front end kit from PST and then I used rockauto for hard bits that weren't included in the PST kit. Almost everyone is manufacturing outside of the US. I try to stick with brands that I have had success with in the past (Timken, SKF, FAG, etc). Regardless of brand, some show...

FOR SALE 78 Complete Super Six with A904 Trans

I am pulling the Leaning Tower of Power to put in a 392. My super six has about 79k miles and the transmission has just over 25k miles. They are different because I pulled the original trans to put a Transgo shift kit in. It was my first shift kit and I was concerned that I would mess it up. I...

    WANTED Clutch pedal support bracket

I have most of the pedal box for the manual conversion on my Volare. But, the set I bought is missing the clutch support bracket, pin and retainer assembly parts circled. The retainer is an easy piece I can make. The pin looks like it just hold the over center spring (I'm using a diaphragm...

how to remove 8 1/4 diferential cross shaft bolt

The cross shaft bolt was super tight on my 8.25. I ended up using my tightest fitting box end wrench and tapping it with a hammer until it broke free. This worked for me after a lot of tapping. Heat was my next plan. Blue loctite only needs 300-400F to melt so that seemed comfortable if needed.
