The cross shaft bolt was super tight on my 8.25. I ended up using my tightest fitting box end wrench and tapping it with a hammer until it broke free. This worked for me after a lot of tapping. Heat was my next plan. Blue loctite only needs 300-400F to melt so that seemed comfortable if needed.

Trans tunnels pop up used on eBay, Craigslist and Facebook occasionally. Brewers performance has repopped a-body tunnels and occasionally lists used f-body tunnels on the site.

Do you still have the spindles and back plates for the front brakes? I know you said no front brakes but didn't know if that included everything or just calipers, brackets and rotors. Thanks, Tom
