    Anodized Trim

I did a write up on this topic on another site a long time ago, but it still works just fine and once polished it's much easier to get it to shine again & again. I have heard that oven cleaner will strip the coating off to, but never tried it. Below is the original write up... Restoring your...

    77 MV1 Aspen R/T & 76 Volare

Thanks! Not a lot to report on it. After the last update here I put on the rear window louvers, a go-wing on the trunk lid and some chrome R/T emblems on the fenders. Then just drove it for the summer, but I wiped out a cam lobe so it's been parked for the winter waiting on me to finish my...

Yeah, my rear differential is an 8.25

More horse power is always a good thing lol so don't get me wrong here but my stock 130 hp 318 felt like it had more power than my 300 hp tons of $$$ 318 because my stock rear had 3.23's but it gave out and I swapped it with a good junkyard 8-1/4 only to find out it had 2.71 gears. It's a dog...

    8 & 3/4 in a FMJ

I just drilled the holes a little off set on the 8-3/4 spring purches so I could still use all of my stock stuff with new u bolts and I didn't have to move the springs very much at all. Everything went together nice.

Cleaned out my garage to make room for another car

It all looks real good, the black and white contrast looks cool. I have rebuild the f-body front end 2 times so I should have double the fun your having. Once for the Aspen and once for the Volare, oh well should be good at when all done :D

    77 MV1 Aspen R/T & 76 Volare

Filled the rear with gear oil, fixed the trany leaks, and cleaned up the under side of the car a little with it up in the air. New 8-3/4 is in and the car is back on the ground :headbang:
