So last month, someone ran over my mailbox and we had no mail delivery until the state highway boys could come out and set a new break-away pole. I had to buy yet another mailbox.

Today, went to check the mail. Had another casualty; however, mailbox is still standing.

March is just around the corner ... I'm wondering what is coming next month.

plant a couple 6 foot steal pipes 4 ft deep on either side of the mail box. the deer is free meat ;-)

Reminds me of German laws. Always protecting the others or the state and choking all costs onto yourself... :mad:

Anybody saw the 60 minutes on CBS about German 'free speech'?
Vance is absolutely right with his speech about free speech in europe at the Munich conference...

That would be fine, if we didn't have that pesky state law mandating state-approved breakaway poles for state highways.

It's always wonderful to see how creative people are, especially when building new mouse traps..

hey?? the pole is a break away pole (talking to the responding officer) it dint say nutting about no guard posts ;-) (pointing to the smart azz kids car wrapped round a concrete re-enforced 6 " pipe.)
