Any chance the magnum manifolds fit nice? Fixing to get rid of the y pipe and I got some 5.9 manifolds laying around. I'm kinda thinking they're gonna go and hit the steering.
Mangum manifolds worth while?

I tried this when I installed the Magnum Engine into my Fifth Ave. Driver's side does hit the steering box. I ended up using the factory Fifth Ave Manifolds.

They fit but there are clearance issues with steering and other areas, nothing that can't be overcome with work. But but there's also not much gain unless you use the couple of bigger years of them. There are posts about both here.
If you drive in a place that's cold you also loose the heat riser valve and that could cause warming up issues. Some engines are pickier about that then others.
