Leaf Spring Shackle - regular vs HD and sway bar combo

Squeaked many places on my Charger, F body was rough ride and the t bar pivots bushing got squished and didn`t last long like the OE rubber did. Not saying not use them if you want but I personally like rubber.

...reason(s) being?

They aren't a good choice for street/daily driving. The squads - even the current Durango and upcoming Charger Pursuit - don't use poly. They used a really hard rubber, which offered a little bit of elasticity at the limit, vs poly, which generally doesn't.

Yup, fair enough.

I ask b/c too often the feedback is biased...not necessairly intentional, but sometimes we just sort of come to a conclusion based on some hands-on experience, general feedback, hearsay, etc.

Point being, when I replaced my torsion bars I went through this review myself and used actual Durometer readings to compare the factory vs aftermarket vs poly hardness (see this thread here => The trouble with the FF Torsion bars...)

No doubt, the poly stuff was nearly 2x as hard as the factory rubber (92 vs 52), but surprising the aftermarket stuff (at 79) wasn't that far off the poly readings.
