Hello everyone and greetings from Finland! As some of you know, it is the "happiest country in the world", but not so happy because it is next door to Russia. Nothing else about politics.

I'm not a newbie Mopar fan. I bought my first MoPar, a 1970 Plymouth Fury III with a 383 cid engine, in August of 1979. Then I was 17 years old. I've liked American cars since I was a teenager, and that's a long time (I'm 64 now :).

Now I have three MoPars and this is my first "small American car", an 1980 Chrysler LeBaron Medallion 4dr with a 318 cid engine. The car was sold new in Finland through a Chrysler importer and is now registered as a museum car.

The philosophy of US car manufacturers in the 1960s and 70s was very different from that of European and Japanese car manufacturers. And I think that was an advantage; comfort and appearance above all!

Welcome! At least Finland has plenty of bunker space!

The Nokian Tyre situation was terrible until they opened a plant in Dayton.

Finland also has plenty of car nuts. I like.

Welcome to the forum. ;)

It's always interesting to see cars from other countries, it looks nice! It's also an M body btw, not F body.

Thanks! That's true. Almost all Finns have civil protection, if that's what you meant. I didn't even know Nokia had a factory in Daytona.
Dayton Ohio, Nokian Tyres started making tires there after the war broke out
