Hello Mopar Friends, Dad came home with 65 1/2 D200 in 65.

Been a Dodge and Plymouth junkie since then. I am here as my son and I have a 78 Aspen RT project we acquired.
This F body is a first for me., had a few Valiants, many pickups,, Polara, Coronet, Sport Fury, Satellite Sebring Plus., even a Voyager.

Never had a F body so I am sure We'll have questions, like what's up with that front suspension?

Basic engine build question to start. I've searched first and don't see anyone has talked about it.

The little tab that extends from the head gasket about a half inch on to the intakes china walls. Can I cut this off or just RTV over it.
If this should be in engine forum I can ask there too. Not sure about forum etiquette . Can't believe I just wrote that.

Set up ebay alerts now for all the possible part numbers for the Torsion bar bushings: Moog K 7289, NAPA 267-3362, TRW 12372A , Rare Parts 16539, Auto Specialty 04-83013, Raybestos 565-1055, Chrysler 4026844 , 41066153, 4014286 and 4186805.


This video will answer your intake gasket installation question, you can keep the tabs or cut them

That roadkill 360 video did answer my question and cover many I didn't know I needed to ask. I will check out the series and see if we missed anything. It's been a while since my first rebuild.
