    Trunk carpeting.

Great idea, too. There's one a few miles from me in Waukesha, so I can stop there and check with them. Thanks.

    Trunk carpeting.

Thanks for the information on the carpeting, Mr. Aspen. I knew I would get an idea of where to look, and it's even cooler that it's from a fellow Wisconsinite! I will check that link now.

    Trunk carpeting.

I want to reline my trunk on my 82 Cordoba with some carpeting, and wondering if anyone out there has done this, and if you found fitted carpet, or you just bought carpet somewhere and made it fit. Thanks for any tips, Tom.

    1981 Cordoba dash pad removal.

Thanks for the info on that, Mr. Mirada. I was planning on trying to repair mine on my 82 Cordoba, and was also wondering if that part came off separately. Mr. FGM, let me know how it went and what you did to fix it, and if it didn't work, what you tried with that situation. Thanks, Tom.

    Over sized Tire 1980 Mirada

Thanks for the info. Your zero offset gives the car a great look. Did you do anything to the rear suspension?

    Over sized Tire 1980 Mirada

Wow! The car looks great! I'm in Wisconsin too, and while my 82 Cordoba is in really good shape, it's not that clean underneath. I too, am planning to add wider meat all around, and am planning on going with either 235 or 245 60 15's all around. I want to go with as far outward offset as I can...

Wishing the FMJ Mopar folk a Happy Holidays

It's nice to know those FMJ's are loved everywhere. It's one of the few older cars that aren't stupid expensive, but it does make it a challenge to get parts. You probably have experienced that, as well.

Any other parts that I could talk to you about? Mirrors, rear bumper, heater control unit? Thanks again.

FOR SALE 82 Cordoba Part out

I wish that I would have seen this post a while back. Do you have the inside door panels, and if so, how are they? It looks like dual exhaust. Is that in salvageable condition? Thanks.

    Heat won't shut off

I will check the number on the valve tomorrow (hopefully able to read it), and let you know, Volare. Yeah, 5th, if I can get the valve to work, I think that would be best, too. Thanks, gentlemen.

    Heat won't shut off

It does look like the valve is good, but not sure if there actually is vacuum there. I haven't had much time to work on it, but I did see that the blend door is on the other side of the control unit, and I am going to try to wire it closed to see if that will do the trick If it does, then I am...

i'll check for that tomorrow afternoon, and let you know how it goes. Thanks again!

    Heat won't shut off

Wow, thanks for the diagram. Nope, I didn't have the blend door connected to the coat hanger. I will take a look at the location above number 2, and let you know how I make out. Thanks again!

    Heat won't shut off

I just saw your previous post, and yeah, maybe that wasn't the blend door I connected to. So the servo is inside the car, and I should be able to see it on the left after I remove the glove box?
  19. C

    Heat won't shut off

Yeah, I will need the heat soon, but still hitting around 80 the next few days. I actually tried connecting a coat hanger to the door after I disconnected the actuator behind the glove box, closed the door with it, and locked it in place, and it still let the hot air in. If it worked, I was...

No I haven’t. I’ll give it a try. One other member mentioned that also. Thanks.

    Heat won't shut off

I am sending a few pics showing that I closed the valve on the heater core hose, and that I do have a clothes hanger hooked up to open and close the door. Like I say, even with the door closed, the heat comes through. Thanks for hanging in there with me on this.

    Heat won't shut off

I did remove the glove box and found the blend door. I wired it closed to make sure that took care of the problem, but the heat is still coming through. Could there be another door that is in that area, and I closed the wrong one? I also closed the valve in the hose to the heater core and that...

    Heat won't shut off

I will be back in town next weekend and will try to access the blend door then, and I appreciate the closing ideas for opening and closing it. Tom

Thanks for the info. Certainly the connection is an easy place to start, and I'll let you know! Tom

    Heat won't shut off

I'll double check the vac lines. I have them connected okay, but could they be disconnected somewhere? I'm guessing the blend box is under the heater core? Thanks!
