    I got fired today.

First, all the best for you and your wife - and the to-be-newborn. On the job: what a fuck up. I always had the impression (from your occasional reports) you liked your job on the machines and did great work... Are they selling less machines, because of import duties and have to scale down? I...

Last Site Upgrade - it sucks!

Reminds me of 'The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!'. At least in the German synchronize said I do safer sex (while wearing a full body condom...)

    Stickers on my G22

Because it's rather retarded timing (but I have no proof. Necessary for emissions at that time). You have no influence on timing whatsoever, if I understand it correctly. No recurving the distributor, nothing. Of course, it did work then (and now, my LeBaron is a good example), but a little...

    And She's Back

At least you apologized to the 5th. :) We're in Sardinia right now, pleasant temps, lots of sun and what goooood meals here. Love Italian cuisine. I really should take some courses to learn that language - our host at the agritourismo does not speak a word non-italian. But the Mirto (local...

And take the cruise control assembly (if so equipped). Good replacement for failing old units (diaphragm failing - I would probably take 2 units... ;) )

    Hair pulling transmission problem

Pics of the linkage would make sense. To ease guessing here. Do you have a service manual? Parts should be no problem, good transmission guys are around in Germany, e.g. Slant six - you already have a matching torque converter, as I understand.

temperature light, 81 imperial. Frank thinks he has a fever.

Because the rocket-science transistor-resistor-capacitor combination in the gauge gave up. I think I have something posted somewhere here in the forum.

    Fuel Sender Sock.

Are there any baffles in the tank? I mean, if it's that empty, with the (last quart of) gas moving around anyway - you might be running on fumes.... The sock is a quite raw filter, most likely to avoid stuff getting sucked into the pipe which could severely obstruct the fuel flow. Before the...

Battery suggestions for F body big block swap

I truly hope and trust that you DID NOT install Li-Ion batteries. They are rather dangerous. As in mobile phones. What could be used is Li-FePo (Lithium Iron Phosphate). This chemistry is quite safe. I have these installed in my 79 camper as camp-batteries.

Battery suggestions for F body big block swap

The starter wire was bad and obviously connected to ground. Car ran, but at full throttle he had ignition issues and stopped it immediately, breaking the run (last run was 11.1s). We pushed it back and realized the molten pole, which itself resulted from being loose (just push on, pull off)...

200 bucks for a battery?? I just got a new one for my Charger (70Ah, dunno CCA) for 75 EUR/approx 90 USD incl shipping... And I thought those are more expensive over here in Europe...

Battery suggestions for F body big block swap

Batteries die. Someday. And you never know when, no matter what brand. I go for cheapos that fit in height and pole's position.

    Fuel lock ring kits

It's the same problem with older cars. Had much trouble with an aftermarket lock ring on the gas tank of my A100 from 69. Bad Chinese crap I ended up reusing the original one.

New weekend, new meet. This time in my hometown. LeBaron (not mine, I went with my A100), Aspen, Diplomat and (not FMJ though), 77 Charger (seems to be a LE), pretty rare (and not appreciated) over here. Highlight: a 69 Charger Daytona (although a clone). All pics (approx 480) here...

Last Wednesday we started on a trip to Sweden. Wheels & Wings Meeting in Falkenberg (approx. 20k inhabitants). Three cars in our team: 67 Fury III, 68 Superbee, 69 Charger. Except a broken heater core on my Charger all cars performed just like ever. The meeting had like a couple thousand cars...
