Sorry, my car is at winter storage so I cannot provide any pictures, but thanks to DCAspen for posted some nice ones. IIRC the wire with the yellow stripe (bottom right on starter relay) is grounded through the neutral safety switch when in neutral/park. You should be able to check the switch...

You should also check the starter relay on the firewall. Had a corroded connection that caused me similar problems.

Just keep in mind the T-bars also acts like a support strut to prevent the lower control arm from moving forward/backwards. I would check them for play, the center bushings too. If they're OK you probably good with the things you mentioned. Replacement bushings are impossible to find. Only poly...

It looks like the spring who push the kickdown-rod against the throttle lever is missing. Like 69 said; it is very important the kickdown assembly is adjusted correctly. Othewise you will fry the clutches in your transmission due to low line pressure causing the clutches to slip.
