The boy put the Volare in the winners circle at Houston this weekend. He drove very well all day. Starting to get a handle on this new car. Car was very consistent. Ran a second under the index on the brakes in the final round.

they look to be a flat folded over metal that slides into position with a hole to slide the pivot rod through. There are two wide tabs molded into the back of the grille.

The best I can tell, it takes 2 of them, upper & lower.

Looking for the clips that go in behind the grille to retain the pivot shaft for the hood release handle. 1977 Volare.

Why not a Gen3 HEMI? Easier & less expensive to do. Make really good power.

I built a 4-door Valiant once, used the Dynomax mufflers on it. Had a E58 360 & 2.94 gear. It would run 14.20's Sold it to a good friend & he was a die hard flowmaster guy. He changed the mufflers out & slowed the car down to 14.40's. I dig the Dynomax stuff.
