    Are you running electric fans?

    Aftermarket aluminum radiator

Dude, this sucks. Dad and I are still running our old Champion radiators without issue. I even had mine modified at a shop to move the inlet to other side for a big block when I swapped. A lot can happen with QC in a decade though. Did you use distilled water or tap water?

    318 LA Cam Swap Question

I didn't say it's a roller, only roller capable. Chrysler introduced 318 blocks with roller provisions in 1985. Would seem a bit silly to cast two different blocks after three years of production when the roller block is capable of running a flat tappet.

    318 LA Cam Swap Question

The block should be roller capable. You'll know if there are threaded pedestals down the center of the lifter galley. This is what holds the tappet retaining plate in place. The real bad epidemic of flat tappet cam failures has a lot to do with the shit machining on the crown of the lifters...

    80 Mirada,

I like how you did your fender supports. I redid mine and decided to tie them together across the motor.

    I got fired today.

You need to talk an attorney. There are firms that specialize in this area of law and with it being that clients in this business are typically hard up for cash I would bet firms work on contingency (only get paid if you win). The bluer the state the better labor protection laws, typically...

    Fall is in the air.

See if they are willing to put the vehicle in storage over winter. Some carriers allow for this. It drops collision coverage and only keeps fire/theft. NM, I see you already did that for a year.

There has to be a restriction somewhere. How big is the filtering element? Secondaries opening?

Last Site Upgrade - it sucks!

LOL, I can't believe I'm taking the argument of progress here. Board software, like anything else, will only get security updates for so long before the version is deprecated and you're forced to move to the next supported major version number. With this comes new features. I know you used to...

Last Site Upgrade - it sucks!

Good Lord, what browser are you using that can't render SVG graphics? If it's that old you need to be wearing condom when browsing the web. I'm sure the place holders are still there. If you hover the cursor over where they should be the alt-tag should still pop up.

    Fall is in the air.

Summer was really short this year. Chat up Grundy for a quote. My insurance hasn't increased in five years. I had Hagerty at first and by the third year cane along they wanted a 40% increase. Screw them.

Heat is a concern, but what about ground clearance? I'd be a little worried.

    1980 Volare Cop Car

I got my five leaf packs from John R Spring many moons ago. Be sure to match the front spring bushings to your caltracs. I ordered the wrong solid bushings when I ordered mine and had to buy them again.

    FF torsion bars feedback

B2001. You'll be happy. I have mine adjusted six clicks on both rebound and compression. They build them to order. I had mine in a couple weeks. You'll have to yalk to FF about the torsion bars. They don't make runs very often. I bought mine 11 years ago. Toss a factory set of front and...

    FF torsion bars feedback

Viking has active part numbers for front and rear shocks for our cars. They're $250 a piece and worth every damn penny. If you pair these with a set of FF 300# bars it will completely transform how your M handles. Like a modern car.

    1984 5th Avenue differential swap.

It's worse. That thing is 2.24:1. In the UK? That's going to be rough. Not many parts cars to be found over there. The easiest way is to find a 8.25" out of a fleet car with a 4bbl. It'll have 2.94 gears and bolt right in. Just have to shorten the driveshaft. There are no aftermarket...

Rear Swaybar bushings and links source

If you're making a set yourself this is the way. Instead of washers use shock bushing keepers as they're cupped to the bushing. For the sleeve over the bolt black pipe can be used. Dad did this for his. For the frame rail bushings Energy Suspension has bushings that fit. You just need to...

Battery suggestions for F body big block swap

I don't even know what's in the Fifth. It's an 800cca something. I think it's a name brand. It's seven years old now. My F150 has a no name in it that went dead from not being used. Shocked it back to life with a stick welder and it's been fine for three years now. I only pay around $200...

    TorsionBar End Bushings

My car has the same issue. I'm using Firm Feel torsion bars and pivot bushings. They also recommended a thicker bottom plate I tried it didn't do anything. If I had to guess poly bushing is just deforming. I've thought about going back to rubber if I could find a set.
