Beautiful car. I have owned 2 of them myself. A triple grey one and a triple blue one. Both nice condition and loaded. Both were not for sale. However, someone offered me way more than I paid for either one both times so I let them go to the new owners.

Nice. We made mine so it is a slip fit and pins in with a 5/8" dia pin like Trailer hitch receiver. I usually take it out on the street and put it back in on the strip.

I went with Cooper 235/75/15's. Yes, still look like new. They are 4-5 years old now.

I put white wall tires on my New Yorker again. Bought all 5 so the spare matched as well.

It does look much better so it was worth it. I have owned 2 of the cars and both were excellent cars. I was offered way more than I ever had into them so I sold them both. I would buy another one any day if the price was right again.

52 now. Been working since I was 13 under the table until 15, then I was able to get a work permit. I worked that first job almost 11 years. Been at my current job now 29 years more. No where near retirement, that's for sure.

I run a front and mid plates on the street. No interference with headers or anything. The good thing I have the coil and everything mounted to the front plate. Really cleans up the engine bay.

I believe 15"×10" with a 5" back space will work with 275/60/15 tires. Any wider of a tire and it will rub.

I believe my buddy had 15"x10" with a 5" b.s. on his 79' Road Runner. I would think 15"x8-1/2" is going to rub on the front.
