Update: Bent 6 is gone now has two more spark plugs! Now the shake down miles.

Above intake is for the C171 compact aluminum A/C compressor.

You would need a later than 1979 intake that has the offset thermostat housing and moved heater hose and temp sensor like this intake. Everything is offset to the left bank.

C171 compressor bracket on 74 cast iron spread bore intake. Does not fit. You can’t put the heater hose on, and it hits the thermostat housing.

Mike5thAve: The RV2 and the C171 compressors have completely different mounting brackets. So it does make a difference. Trust me. I have all the correct RV2 and C171 brackets. In fact my 1974 360 Cast Iron Intake, will NOT accept the C171 Brackets at all. It will accept the RV2 brackets.

BudW The #334 bracket and pulley is questionable, as the listing states its for a 1985 Dodge Ramcharger. At that time the RV2 Compressor was done and the C171 was standard equipment.

XfbodyX I saw that bracket and Pulley on Ebay. That is for the C171 compressor. I appreciate your search.

Aspen500 That is an option I thought about.. and may end up doing. Da Tree Six Dee is almost ready for the run stand before it goes in the Longroof!

BudW LA engine: The reason I would like this idler pulley set up... Is because the car is a Factory AC car. And I would like to get it running and driving shortly, and then this winter install all the AC items. This way I would NOT need to take all the pulleys and brackets off the water...
