    Lean burn control modules

It could still be a fueling issue. Do you have a fuel filter with the side outlet for the return line? If so, pinch kink that line in half, secure it with a ziptie and take it for a drive.

    Coolant leak

Look at it this way: it's the perfect excuse to get the intake blasted and cleaned. :)

    Coolant leak

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that intake needs to come off now. If I had to guess that fastener was over tightened to begin with and had already started to twist apart when the motor was new.

If the parts were smaller I would. It's just too much of a PITA to find the appropriate box and packaging, sorry.

    FFI roller bearing idler kit

Of all the FFI parts I have on my car this is not one of them. Does your idler need to be replaced? That's almost $300 and I'm not entirely sure it'll make that big of a difference if at all.

Of course you're on the other side of the continent from me. I've got a pair of used, but in good shape Hookers I'd just give you. ....wow, phrasing.....

    Wagon getting some love

It's 21C now in Michigan and you're getting more done than I am despite being buried in snow.

    Radiator question

Champion CC374. You need to make a plate for the driver's side to mount it, but it's pretty easy. I've had this radiator in the car for 12 years now.

    Gran Fury AC

Be extra careful with the vacuum tree. It'll be very brittle with the age and heat cycles.

    J BODY LEAF SPRINGS

Found that post. Made some updates as it was from 2020: I've spent a lot of time over the years trying different combinations of parts to get these cars to handle. I'll start the with the best bang for buck upgrades. Cop sway bars. Easily the best and cheapest upgrade you can perform. Get...

    Random Pics

Oh my God, I'm busting up over here! I need to work this into the prompt and generate a movie poster. We need a tagline to put on the bottom of the poster.

When I get home I'll plug this into Grok and see what it generates. "Creepy, dark atmospheric setting of a Soviet bread factory with Resident Evil inspired zombies." Of course we all know the above doesn't exist. Communists don't have food.

1989 Fifth Avenue Dual Exhaust setup.

Yeah, I did. I was one of those that clearanced the trunk floor with a hammer. It worked, but it never sat right with me and every time I opened the trunk I could see my handy work there on the floor. You could try removing the gas tank and heating the area with a torch to attempt to make it...

1989 Fifth Avenue Dual Exhaust setup.

Wow, I thought it was cool when we got members from as far out as Europe, but I don't think we've ever had someone from the Middle East. Your car looks mint. Welcome. I don't know when exactly, but sometime after the early 80's Chrysler switched to a gas tank with the vent in the top. It...

    J BODY LEAF SPRINGS

I wouldn't call that feeble by any stretch. You doubled the HP of that motor. Don't get caught up in chasing the entire product catalog at FF. I can give you an itemized list sorted by biggest bang-for-buck for suspension mods. I had a lengthy post somewhere I on this forum. I'll see if I...

    J BODY LEAF SPRINGS

It's probably going to be a easier using a late model axle rather than hunting for something that ceased production 50 years ago. Does Cal Trac have normal leaf springs or just the split mono leaf? Mono is going to make for a car that rides horribly on the street. What's your budget and what's...

    EFI

EFI isn't going to fix anything over a properly functioning 2bbl. If you want EFI for the creature comforts, then go for it, but your deciding factor shouldn't be having a driving car. I'm using a Sniper in my car and I'm happy. As noted the fuel tank is the biggest obstacle. These tanks are...

    tires

Wagons were geared lower and /6 even lower still. OP's car is going to have a 2.24:1. We can sit here and argue about it until the sun burns out. Our frames of reference are grounded in different times. The interstate is now 70MPH and Kia shitboxes will do 14 second quarters. OP is just...

    tires

They're shorter. The series measurement is the percentage of width, 60% the width of 255. These cars are geared ridiculously high from the factory, so a shorter tire is probably what you want.

Volare Iso-Delete and shift seal trick

My car is a corner carver (for what it is). I've been through so many combinations of parts over the years it's stupid. The solid bushings aren't going to ruin ride quality. Pair them with a set of new Monroe shocks and it'll ride nice. If I were I'd weld in a set of frame ties and add...

    tires

235-60-15 on the front and 255-60-15 on the back won't rub. You can fit 275-60-15 on the rear with the correct offset, but it's close and you need to measure. Anything larger than on the front and it'll rub the torsion bars and K at full lock with a 4.5" BS.

    1980 Volare Cop Car

Yeah, I'm there with you. Straight torsion bar setups are easier to work on and everyone makes bars for them.
