    Clifford, the big red car...

The suspense is killing me, how is that Cordoba coming? Good to see a young'en into building the old cars.

In the F/M/J body styles, who made your favorite? "Chrysler", "Plymouth" or "Dodge".

To restore or not to restore

The poll has closed, the votes are in and my FMJ friends have spoken. The more I look at the original car pic, the more things I saw that I would change, which just brings me back to what I have already. I guess I've never been the kind of guy to leave things alone. There is always...

What is the correct way to stow the spare, jack, and wrench?

I thought it looked something more like this, with jack on the bottom?

Mmm... interesting outcome so far, not the way I thought the votes would go. Thanks for the votes and all your comments...keep 'em coming! In regards to the ricers, I can't remember the last time somebody pulled up beside me with half a motor with a blow dryer on it wanting to run. It must be...

To restore or not to restore

I guess what I'm worried about is the point of no return. I'm wondering if I my Duster would be better suited for all the other race mods I want to do (caged, tubbed etc)..but..the RT has been like this a long time..and its a lot of fun.

To restore or not to restore

So here is my dilemma. Should my 77 Aspen RT be put back to original? Currently the car has a 440ci and was lightened for racing etc. I still have the original 360 and most of the parts I would need to put it back to the way it came. Is it worth it, when I have no intentions of ever selling it...

    Built In 108 Days

Thanks guys. It was fun but the real fun came after I got to go cruising. Since then I have only done a few things, I upgraded to a MSD ignition, 15 x 8 Rallies with 275 60 15's in the rear, new leaf springs and bushings, hoodscoop and a K&N X-Stream Airflow Top. On my list for this year...

Trust me, it wasn't all peaches and cream like it looks in the pictures. There were a few leaks that I finally got fixed the day we left. Oh ya, and those "Cherry Bombs" I had in the garage that I put on the car, were just to frikken loud for a long highway trip!

Do to my self imposed time restraints, I tried to take pics every night but was too tired some nights. All the work was done in my garage except the machining and tranny rebuild.

Have to say this build was made easier because I'd been stock piling parts for awhile to do this build.

Now that the paint was out of the way, time for mechanical. (And yes, it was the first time I ever painted a whole car)

    Built In 108 Days

I'll try to make this story as short as the build. I had a 1979 Duster sitting around for a future build. Got a phone call from my brother-in-law and he wants me to do a Hot Rod Run with him to the west coast. With 108 days before the cruise, it sounded like a challenge. What the heck, I...

So do you think I should do this...another scam sent to my e-mai

I would say..no. The sad thing of it is I work with a guy who has fallen for scams, not once. but twice, even after we told him not to. Cost him thousands. I always wondered what kind of people get caught up in these scams until I saw it first hand.

What is it like wearing shorts while your picking out your Christmas tree? We got almost 6 inches of snow yesterday again. There is no way I'd take my nice mopar out in this crap. That's what they made Japanese bumper cars for, the big spoilers work great for tying on trees. That's a nice winter...
