    Stuck thermostat?

You from Daytona beach? Man, I completely missed taking that into account when I was at the Rolex 24h in January... o_O

    Stuck thermostat?

Or you have a visco coupled fan, then it should have some resistance while the belt is on. Visco coupling is heat actuated and fully turns the fan only when hot. Water pump is meanwhile always turned by the belt.

    Stuck thermostat?

If it does open, there's most likely lots of dirt, grime and such in the cooling system. I'd then suggest to flush the whole system. Else it could (I'd say unlikely) be the water pump. If you take the belt off, the fan (it is connected to the impeller inside) should turn very easily.

    Stuck thermostat?

Take the thermostat out, it will be closed. Put it in a pot with boiling water and it will open. You will see the closing plate to open. ;)

    Stuck thermostat?

Hard to say. You can test the thermostat in a pot with boiling water, it has to fully open.

    Can this be done ?

Had an oil filter fully plugged (= no oil pressure!) due to bad design of the flowback valve (it bot only stopped backflow, but also normal forward flow) and it was a K&N. Saw that mess after I opened it up. Also opened up a WIX, completely different design on the flowback valve, this could not...

    Random Pics

Another day, another meet. Did a 200 mls roundtrip with the 69 Charger today (almost unbelievable 17.3 mpg), great meet, but weather was kind of not-nice (strong and cold gusts)... Here you'll find my pictures - including (IIRC) 1 Diplomat Station. Car Meetings / 2025 05 Kaunitz | gecius.de...

    Worth it to fix?

I would dump the block, maybe as a table for the living room (pending approval of wife... o_O ). Only if it's something really rare I would think about it.

    No lights

But turn signal/flasher work in the rear? Look & test the brake light switch, it's above the pedal assembly. If you have speed control, it has two functions: turn on brake light (contact closed when switch extended) and turn of speed control (contact open when switch extended).

    No lights

Same circuit for the parking lights front & rear, IIRC. Brake light works as intended?
  24. 69-

    No lights

As it blows the fuse, there's most likely a short in some of the cables. Also check at the brake light switch. As turn/hazard works, but also look at rear lights. Have a similar e-gremlin at a friends LeBaron (not solved, yet). You need to measure all around  On a 67 fury, inside...
