You totally should. For the record I always put green anti freeze in, not water. It turns out just like the radiator, the fan clutch from an '86 Ram Charger 318 is a direct fit... little trivia for y'all

I took this picture shortly after I bought The Cherry Bomb, there was/is no extra pulley and she doesn't appear to have ever had an extra pulley

Edit: turns out the water pump is fine, the fan clutch was bad...

I replaced the cap in April or May

I forgot to update, mechanic neighbor tested and says water pump, new pump will be in Tuesday

The good news is the oil isn't milky so that's a good sign at least. I found it strange that the temperature gauge was climbing since it pretty much doesn't move anymore, that's when I popped the hood and saw a ton of coolant pouring out the bottle like the last time it stuck

Seems to be seepage around the housing

How would I know?

Engine was overheating, while sitting in a long line...anti freeze was pouring out the overflow bottle, like the thermostat was sticking I just replaced the thermostat about a month ago, is the thermostat defective or something else?

Drove neighbor to this guy's property... he's got tons of old cars and trucks around, mainly '50s Chevys, but plenty of others... including this very original '49 Chrysler (the only Mopar)
