    Don't Do This

500 or 5000 you covered the material so well (pun intended) I have the confidence to go out and buy some. I once recovered the headliner in my 1990 dodge dakota so other than it being bigger, it should be the same process. To get the residue off of the backer board, I used a utility knife blade...

    Parts Data Book

Agreed. My problem with these platforms is that since they are "unloved" there is no info about them on the internet anywhere. They are new enough to not be collectible yet old enough to be rare. In most cases anyways. Never mind the fact that the a,b,e crowd has always had support, I digress...

    Don't Do This

Ive read your interior threads a dozen times over and thoroughly enjoy them. For the sake of my laziness (I don't want to go searching again) how many yards of material were used in the recovering of all the interior trim bits?

    hitch mounting

FYI I believe the tow capacity for these cars is about 1000lbs. Possibly up to 1200. Even if you plan on towing an insignificant amount of weight, be sure your transmission fluid is good and red and doesn't have any foul odor or foam. If you have any of that it could indicate a problem in the...

    Carb Kit Advice

Headliner and sunvisors. Or a steering box. I really should replace my tires. It's a full set of 1998 MayPops. Honestly probably a radio and subwoofers. I've got those lying around. But I'm not a thump-thump stereo person, I just like an accentuated low end.

I know right? I just need to iron out the stumble it has when cold never could figure that out. I've had that in all my carb'd vehicles and cant seem to adjust it out. With this one I think I can adjust it out with the idle screws. Trial and Error will tell... OH!OH!OH! I also cleaned off the...

Warning about today's Gas and Carburated Cars.

there are only 3 stations in my state that sell the gas you use Cap. One is 30 minutes away, the next 90 minutes, the last 2.5 hours. Not economical for me unfortunately. I have been known to fill up with E0 premium when I'm around those stations just cruising however.

Lucky for me, my GF is 100% rust free. its a 40K mile survivor that sat outside most of its life. Living in the rust belt (central WV) I'm totally surprised at how solid this thing really is. But honestly if I really had 2Gs to blow on that car, i would be ordering a lot of parts from the Firm...
