Can it be Saved or is it Toast?

I bought a 79 4 door slant with 40k on it in 2005. It was in about the same shape, the frame rails were not quite as bad as yours and I was able to weld them up and drive it. I put 20k on it and got 19-20 mpg as my daily driver for 2 years. I would definitely save it, good driving cars.

Last of the LA 360s is it worth it?

http://fitechefi.com/ I have been reading about this set up, seems to be pretty easy install, pretty slick they way they do the fuel pump setup, no fancy in tank pump using their setup.

    New Rad installed

With the fan almost covering the whole rad it may work with no shroud, at highway speed it should cool well, nothing to block the air flow as long as everything is sealed off up front.

New coil in the 81 woody wagon

Back in the mid 90's my brother and I built a cruiser car for our local dirt track. Cruiser car has a driver who runs the wheel and brake, passenger runs the gas by moving the gas pedal to passenger side. Rules were purely stock 4 door car except a chevy or any GM car with a chevy small block...

    Headers, Sure Grip

I had a set that I sand blasted and painted with DEI high temp paint, seemed to hold up well. ceramic coating is nice though, seems to last too. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/dei-010303?seid=srese1&gclid=CjwKEAjw8e2sBRCYte6U3suRjFESJAB4gn_goA9EKSKgIrXYNrOw9oWmUQqjseFvm1JKuK1du0ozBxoCoTnw_wcB

    New Dukes of Hazard

Good stuff! We are celebrating my 3 y/o sons birthday on Sunday, he is having a Dukes of Hazzard party. All this was planned before any of the crap started about the flag, so we will be having a politically incorrect Bday party, complete with a real General Lee charger. Here is a pick of his...

    Headers, Sure Grip

Is this for small block? Almost all small block A body headers are listed as fitting A, F, M and J bodies, especially the cheaper ones. I put A body hooker 5901's on my aspen last year. The sure grips are available at summit. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/dcc-4529273/overview/ I...

I have a NOS sniper set up on my 340 dart. I have ran a 100-200 shot through it probably dozen or so times so far. Like as mentioned pulling timing is very important, I pulled a couple degrees extra to be safe when I first started using it. I got some good tune ups from a NOS tech up to 200...

    Too much advanced timing?

I did the same thing, although the chart helped narrow down how big I wanted the slots to start with and got me close. I have a newer Mopar dizzy in my Dart, it has a Mallory adjustable advance, bought a YH/YT advance kit, came with bunch of springs and keys marked with the number of degrees...

    Too much advanced timing?

If you don't want to mess with welding and filling slots, FBO has these available, can get one with a spring kit too, makes it easy. http://www.4secondsflat.com/Mopar%20Mechanical%20timing%20limiter%20plate.htm

    Too much advanced timing?

Your initial and mechanical should be around 34 degrees total, your vac advance is on top of that and can be plugged while you set initial and recurve your dizzy. Are you using stock type mopar dizzy? Do you know what springs you have in it? The more initial timing you can give it the better...

    Too much advanced timing?

What is your total advance at? You can give it as much initial as it will take until the starter wants to kick when engine is up to temp, then back it off a couple degrees. I have my 340 set at 20 initial, 34 total, so 14 degrees in the dizzy all in by 2800. I do not run vacuum advance.

F Body bench and rear seat

Thanks Captain, had to sell my Aspen to buy it back from the guy I sold it to 5 years ago, he put about 1500 miles on it and burned the drag radials off of it. Its good to have it back in the garage.
