1406 On Stock '89 318

Hello,

Looking for more info regarding the Edelbrock 1406, which I know is a common installation on these engines. I know that I do need the lever adapter and a fuel line kit.
Any other ease of life parts or considerations I need to think about? This is my first time working on anything carbureted.

Do you mean 1406?
Do you already have a 4bbl intake?
It’s going to move your throttle linkage position, you’ll have to adjust/fabricate something for proper kickdown operation of your transmission, or switch to a kickdown cable.

Yes I do have the 4bbl intake.

Four barrel FMJ kickdown linkage, intake bracket and Edelbrock carb throttle lever. Just found this while digging for other parts
