My daughter has decided to sell her car so that she can get something more "modern".
I am offering the car here to those that will appreciate it. This is a survivor car owned by an old lady that bought it new, drove it to church and the grocers and parked it indoors.
Super Six 225 2bbl, 904, 7.25 drivetrain, finished in Classic Cream with goldish brown accents and caramel toned interior.
45562 miles runs...well like slant 6... will buzz along forever!
Kind of a weird car. Premier package- Chronometer, tilt wheel, intermittent wipers, P drivers seat, cruise, AM radio, no A/C.
Fantastic foundation for a project. Best F Body I've seen in years.

The good: Original paint, amazing body with NO ROT. Some surface rust starting around stone chips. New Master cylinder, new tires, new carb, very peppy. New Wiper drive link and bushings.

The bad: Had touch up done on drivers front fender & pass quarter and paint is starting to crack. Some parking lot dings. Pass landau glass was broken in past and replaced and the top was cut away as part of the repair (I got it this way) needs new top- trim is in trunk). Needs U joints and possibly rear axle bearings (starting to growl out back). Needs new choke thermostat, have to set it by hand to start car...spring is too weak. Oil pan drain is stripped...I have a rubber plug repair installed...does not drip.Slight tears in drivers seat only...rest is perfect. Rad is starting to weep will need a re-core soon. Cruise does not work.

Will continue to repair as it is driven daily.

Seattle area.

Asking $2000

Looks like a very nice car for a very fair price. Not too much work needed to make it great! Love the tilt/cruise/power seat. Love the color "Classic Cream" - that was available one year only, 1978. It would make a nice stable mate for OY. Good luck with the sale!

I'm military and being posted in July...taking offers on the Volare so that I don't have to ship. Rad issues sorted...it does daily driver duty now.
Considering selling the 89 5th Ave in the background too (minus the road wheels/tires)...everything works on the 5th, even the A/C. Some rust breaking out below top trim on drivers side and bottom of rear doors.

Tacoma WA

Pics of the 5th.
