1980 Mexican Spec Chrysler Super Bee - 40204E
Hello friends.
I have a rare model for you here.
This is a 1978 Chrysler Super Bee.
It is said the car was restored. The word restored to me means the car was put back to its original condition.
You might notice it has the Plymouth front end while it has the Dodge rear end. This is how these cars were made in Mexico which is why they are called a Chrysler Super Bee.
Under the hood is a 300 horsepower 360 V8. We might be talking gross horsepower, I am not sure, but the Mexican 360 in these cars was rated at 300 HP.
This car has factory air which is an extremely rare option on a Mexican car.
The wheels are very rare and even more so in this condition.
This one is a floor shifted automatic. The odd thing about this, is that every Super Bee from 1970 to 1976 was a manual transmission. Starting in 1977 with the F Body they were mostly automatics and then in 1981 when the Dodge Magnum came out they were all stick shifts again.
The blue Tuff steering wheel is extra cool.
Being that this car is fairly local to me I can offer it for a good price.
