I'm looking for a replacement factory aluminum rim for my 1980 Dodge Mirada.
I purchased the car last year ago it has a bent rim on the back. I really like the factory
rims on it and would like to find 1 or 2 if someone has them for sale. Thanks

The center is bent, and it wobbles, I was told it couldn't be straightened by a local tire shop, but I don't know.
Have you ever heard of one of these rims being straightened that is bent this way?

Damn, there might be someone that can fix the center. I will check with a couple of places. These wheels are getting hard to find lately

They made cast aluminum as well as forged aluminum versions of the 10-spoke wheels. The forged version is stronger and is more forgiving on being straightened. If you search “10-spoke wheels forged” in our forums, you will find clues to the differences to know what you have.

If your wheels are original to the car, they should be the forged version – a lot of cars got the wheels upgraded, after the fact.

There are shops out there that do nothing but straighten bent wheels (steel or aluminum). You might have to google sources and make a few phone calls, though. I have been very surprised on how even badly damaged aluminum wheels can be fixed – so don’t give up and talk to a specialist, before settling on a fancy door stop.

These wheels were popular ever sense the wheels first appeared (’80-83) and are still popular now.
I had a set on my ’67 Plymouth Satellite for a long time and would love to have another set.
